Friends and family, we're honored you'll be joining us from far and wide for this tremendous milestone in Ezra's life.
Welcome
We are so honored that friends and family will be coming from far and wide to celebrate this tremendous milestone in Ezra's life, marking his transition to Jewish young adulthood. A bar mitzvah ceremony simultaneously serves as a culmination of years of study, and a launchpad for a life of Torah, Avodah, and G'milut Chasadim — learning, devotion, and acts of lovingkindness.
And as hard as Ezra has worked for this day, you too are such an important part of this event! Your joining us is what will make this milestone into a true simcha (joyous occasion).
This website is intended to help out-of-town family and friends get oriented to the logistical details, as well as the customs and meaning of the day. If you are able to RSVP as soon as you can, you would be doing us a HUGE favor in our planning. We ask that you please make every effort to RSVP by April 1st!
The weekend at a glance
Join us for prayers to welcome this special Shabbat — even if you've never attended a Friday night service before, you are absolutely welcome (and encouraged) to come! Davening begins at 6 pm; welcome and dinner begins at 7.
At the morning service, Ezra will be called up to the Torah for the first time. In the evening: end-of-Shabbat and Casino Night at our home.
Get your dancing shoes on and come ready to throw down — the whole deal.
